Offtopic:looking for a job ( Re: Java C++ developers needed in Switzerland)

Hi,

Please forgive me this off- message. I know there are
plenty of places to send mail like this. However if they don't work
why to not trying something else?
I have developed applications for open source community for
some years and maybe now, I can find a job through this community.

Last 3 years I hard coded in Java. I am working as small projects
or subprojects manager.
I created intelligent web spiders and participated in development
of fraud detection system for big bank in USA.

Before that job I and my friends created first in our country
WAP service for mobile devices. Based on this we created own
company. (Not successful, thanks to IT market down.)

Earlier I was instrumental - team leader in project for railway
company. We created safety-supporting diagnostic network
system based on Linux system. We used C and C++ language.
I am sure it was pioneer Linux project not only in my country but
also around the world in this time.We started it in 1994.
It works now very well. About 60 diagnostic systems are connected
in WAN, they work and send diagnostic data to central locations.

Earlier I developed applications for MS-DOS and MS-Windows
systems in Borland Pascal and Borland Delphi.

All these projects used data bases: Interbase, PostgreSQL and Oracle
so I am also familiar with SQL and PL/SQL.

As you can see I have not only very good knowledge of some
programming languages but also great experience in developing
applications in general.
I took part in setting functionality with end-users, designing application
framework, development, testing and implementation at client site.

Additionally it is worth to note that apart from full-time work I am also
involved in two Open Source projects on Source Forge site.

One is my personal project which provides tools for testing and developing
purpose. I put there some of my work which was developed as open source.
First of all you can find there my implementation of internet protocols
library,
and library for generating unit tests for Java language. Each package has
tens
users around the world.

Second of them is GIS project which is created by over than 20 developers

around the world.

I come from Poland, I live and work here now. However, last week
half staff were dismissed and I was told I have job for next half year.
And really there is no obstacle for me to relocate to place where is
a job for me.

I can speak English and Polish of course. And there is nothing in the
way to learn next natural language for me.
