Sounds like you might have broken the loading of cedet-1.0beta2b/semantic in the course of upgrading. Try adapting Paul's instructions at

to your environment.

If I kill the buffer and load the same program or another program, the display doesn't work anymore. I get the message

and the java program appears but is not highlighted as previously. However, the JDE menu still works correctly.
Did I forget something ? Did anyone get the same problem ?
I work with Emacs 21.2.1, but the problem occurs with earlier versions too.
