I'm using the B cygwin/emacs, because I thought nt/emacs was no more supported.
My version of nt/emacs was outdated, I had problems with nxml-mode and I
couldn't find an earlier version ; so I decided to upgrade to the cygwin
package.

Then, I used jdee, encountered new problems, found solutions suitable for me and
started this discussion.

Now, I'm going to experiment 2 solutions I found out with your help :

 1. early versions of nt/emacs are available (again ?) in
http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/windows/emacs/

 2. according to this message http://cygwin.com/ml/cygwin/2005-04/msg00277.html,
the emacs cvs version supports the cygwin platform ; I hope it supports the
Windows style paths like other cygwin programs.
