I think I have something like this implemented.  Would either of you want to
try it and see if it fits your needs?  I use JDEE to launch programs, so
this isn't something I am going to spend a lot of time on without outside
input.

You can download the code from subversion at
https://jdibug.googlecode.com/svn/branches/sync, or I can upload a new
tarfile to download.

If you run from subversion, you'll need to run "make" in the top level
directory.

To use the feature, customize jdibug-run-* as appropriate, then to M-x
jdibug-run.  (It should also be on the jdibug menu.)
