It turns out jde-help-class is broken, because jde-url and jde-jdurl rely on the "name" field of objects, which is now deleted. So there's a bit of fixing to do. Should this be done on a branch? perhaps named 'emacs-master'; we can use it to fix all the other warnings (mostly "use cl- prefix"). Also, what Emacs front end for svn do you recommend?
