As for me it would be great. IMHO the simplest approach would be to use an empty GH repository, attach my repo as a second remote, import (cherry pick) all commits except mine, and then just push to correct GH remote. The last two commits can be applied as patches/pull-requests. Of course, you may do this in some other way if you want.
