Could the owner of the web page at http://jdee.sourceforge.net/ make a
note of this? That might help other users using emacs 22 and later.

I followed the instructions in the file located in the svn repository
at jdee-2.4.0/jde/doc/install.html. Installation went smoothly. JDEE
has been loaded with no errors, though I haven't tested out the full
functionality yet.
