Sweet, thanks.  Sadly, I did not get a jde-autoloads.el file when I ran
the build:

ant configure
ant build
ant bindist

I must've done something wrong...I'll look at what I've done more
carefully.

The jde-autoloads file is generated at compile time (see build.el and  
install.html).
