Yes, it is supported. A little misleading what I wrote. When I said: "... as soon java 1.5 is supported ..."
I was thinking about things like jumping to a method definition (using generics), using the bean shell for quick tests (using generics), syntax highlight for variable declarations and methods (agina using generics - in this case I think is more a cc-mode issue than jdee).
