Hi
I want to install Jabber server 1.2/1.4 on Sun Solaris...
can you help me in this regards..How can I start the installation..?
In which jabber server you are working in Sun Solaris 8.0 as you mention in mailing list..
 
Now I am trying to install jabber server 1.2 on Sun Solaris-2.6/5.6..
I am able to configure but before that I am trying to install pth-1.3.7.tar.gz..
at the time of make I found some error like this...

Yes it is possible, and some would say, preferable, to run the Jabber
server on a Sun Solaris machine.


I have a Solaris-8-Sparc Jabber server running right now, works like a charm.
