Currently,
I'm having a bit of problems getting my project up on Sourceforge,
but I have the beginnings of an XDB handler written in Java. My
company has recommended that we opensource it - so we all benefit. If
you're in the mood to tinker with it, feel free. Until the Sourceforge
account gets straightened out, just send me an email ([EMAIL PROTECTED])
and I'll be glad to send it to you. You should be able to make it talk
to any JDBC friendly database.
What works (that I know):
1) plaintext auth
2) 0k auth
3) rosters
4) temporary vCards
What doesn't work:
1) filters
2) digest authentication
3) offline message storage
4) jabber:iq:last handling
and probably countless other things that keep
finding their way into the protocol
Anyway - what I need are people testing, tinkering, and complaining.
It's in a very early state, and will probably go through a number
of major mutations as I get feedback, etc.
Take care to all.
