[JDEV] offline message question

Is it possible to push messages back to the server's offline message queue after it has arrived at it's destination?   Here's the rationale: I have a client connection concentrator that allows for users to be connected to the server via a proxy, but I want messages that arrive to that "proxy client" to be selectively stored offline until the "real" user goes online.   Is this possible?
