Sorry it's take me so long to get this out, but we had a SecJIG meeting on Monday and had some decent discussion. We've got a pretty good group that really wants to get things moving. We decided to start by investigating at the lowest level the actual XML and a generic method for encrypting it. We're going to start a discussion at the W3's XML Encryption standards and possible use of those, so feel free to join in.
