Ok, I've put the avatar spec up on core.jabber.org (URL:
http://core.jabber.org/avatar.txt) for easier access by everyone. I
was talking with some people and they brought up the valid point of why
don't we just use OOB for the icon transfer (after failing the public
xml). Seems that we would possibly have to enhance OOB to have a get
type, that way you could request the specific file, or possibly a get
with an <x xmlns='jabber:x:avatar'/> info block in it, so the client
knows it's an avatar request. Thoughts?
