There are a couple of presumptions that I have made. One is that you are looking for
an
online reference, though it appears that your question is indicating books. That
assesment is based upon my decrepid age more than anything else. The other
presumption is that you are already either competent, or reasonably well versed in a
programing language that you can use to develop your client in. I don't know what your
competency is, and I am not questioning it.
