The JabberApplet code was created by Dave Scott, a developer at jabber.com
who is no longer with the company. I don't think he is active in Jabber
stuff anymore, so someone else could feel free to take over the project (I
can try to contact him directly about that if you would like). So, no, the
project is not active.
