Hi All, Thank you so much for all of the work on jabber-1.4.2. I was wondering what the reasoning was
to disable debug output when the process is put into background mode? I run my server, for now, with debug
turned on so that when there is a problem I can see what it was that caused the
problem and even when using my own process to “background” it I have redirected
stder to a file. This has shown to
be useful on several occasions, but I am wondering if you know of something
that will break if debug was turned on even if the server is put in background
mode through the new 1.4.2 way. Thanks, Tim Ferguson |
