[JDEV] Using transports alone

Hi everybody. Let me introduce myself. I'm Rodrigo, a new member of this list.   I'm trying to use jabber transports alone in an IM client.   Somebody has tried this before? Where can I find info about this? or information about jabber server and transport interconection.   TIA     Rodri
