Hi all, I've be recently introduced to an excellent alternative to the push parsers like SAX and DOM. Although there is no widely accepted standard like SAX for pull parsers, they are a great alternative, allowing you to control how the parser functions and solving issues like handling streaming XML and controlling threading (hard problems for push parsers that really put a crimp on things).
A good place to start is the J2ME capable kXML parser at www.enhydra.org. Small, open source, and easy to use. I'm just starting to look at the technology but I wanted to let developers know about this cool tool. I wish I knew about it 6 months ago! -iain _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
