I am writing a client in Perl and Curses (::Widgets) - don't know if
I can be of any help, then.
I've started it a couple of months ago and since I just went back to
University after a long time, it hasn't gone as far as I wanted, but I've
done some interesting drafts and I plan on releasing a first "beta" version
sometime in the next few weeks, with basic functions (presence,
sending/receiving messages etc).
So, if you feel I can help in any way, just let me know...
