  Call it a hunch, but please try?  Login to goof.com.  Then try telnet 
jabber.org 5269, and update.jabber.org 5269.  The messages your getting infer 
that it cannot connect *AT ALL* to Jabber.org.  I did have issues with dialback 
when I was attempting to ensure it worked with some internal servers, and the 
messages, while I don't recall exactly, are totally different.  You get a 
message stating that dialback failed, NOT connection refused.  It almost sounds 
like the outside to the inside works, but *PERHAPS*, just maybe, inside to the 
outside isn't?
