With respect to the browse component on a jabber server (jabber:iq:browse), I am wondering whether there is any way to modify the browse information in real time, (say as an admin, to do a IQ_SET xmlns=jabber:iq:browse against a jabber server). It's really annoying if one wants to modify this list, to have to modify the config file, and bounce the server? Anything I'm doing wrong, or is that the only way to do this?

Might it make sense to:

1) Make the browse component able to run remotely as a typical service is (say, an "Accept" component on a specific ip/port) ?

or

2) Make the browse component be able to be IQ_SET by some admin (as I mention above)

or

3) Make the browse component be file based ias it is now, but be able to reload the file when it changes (and make it not jabber.xml, but some other file).....

There might be a way to do this, but I don't know of any.

Thanks
-Dov
