I was wondering if anyone has tried this: I am attempting to cache the roster of the user locally (in a file) so the roster does not need to be downloaded from the server everytime the client connects (conserves bandwidth). This works fine, but if I attempt to add a user to the roster, no result XML is sent by the server, however the user does get added to the roster on the server. I suppose I could get around this problem by simply requesting the roster before a add user request is sent, but I would like to avoid this.
