MSN-t has had no active maintainers for ages, so I guess the best thing for you to do would be to grab a copy of the code and play. Apparently there's a memory leak somewhere in it, which could do with fixing. Beyond that the basic features seem to work quite well. The only feature I've noticed lacking is that it doesn't seem to convert html messages into whatever MSN uses for rich text (although it does convert the other way).
