I was wondering about this a few days ago also. With the central JUD at jabber.org, it is very easy to get valid jid for quite a few people ... And I think, as soon as jabber get a certain marketshare, spammers will discover this network. I already received a few 'unwanted' messages. I think, the first 'solution' would be a start, and with some limits on how many auth request per time... Still one could think of ways surpassing such limits.
