it seems to me there are a number of people ( including myself ) hacking out unofficial jabber support
for twisted ( http://www.twistedmatrix.com/ ).
this is great, i think twisted would make an excellent platform for jabber clients and servers.
is it not time to consolidate these efforts for eventual inclusion as a protocol package into twisted proper?
i would love to hear back from anyone hacking jabber support in twisted.

I've done some little improvements (hopefully) to the original twjabber.py.
