Is there any documentation on how to configure components in the jabber.xml file? Specifically, I'm trying to use the C++ JECL libraries to create a replacement xdb component that uses a Sybase database instead. Yes, I've compiled and tried to use the xdb_sql component, but it just doesn't meet my requirements. Actually, if anyone is interested, I created an xdb_sql_sybase backed for xdb_sql. Anyway, JECL provides the j2blog sample code, but no documentation that I can find on how to install and configure the example. Not that I plan to use it, but at least that might get me going in the right direction. If anyone has written an xdb accept component to replace xdb_file, I would love to see how you configured it.
