[JDEV] Transport Registration forms/details

Hiya - I'm working on a wee transport ( for SMS messaging ), currently the 
transport is pretty much open for anyone to send messages through 
@mytransport.server.name.

I want I limit usage to users who have "registered" against the transport 
after browsing the service.

Does anyone have any pointers to any JEPs/protocol sections to read on how 
this is handled?

How are registration forms handled?  ( i remember seeing some docs on this 
but can't seem to find it at the moment ).
