Someone poked me offlist about these. There are, in actuality, many protocol pieces in these documents, so it may make sense to split them out. This will enable us to assign protocol scores or ratings for XMPP in addition to the broader Jabber categories. Thus I'm thinking it would make sense to specify things like: tlsc2s tlss2s saslc2s sasls2s nameprep nodeprep resourceprep resourcebind dialback stanzas xmllang imsession presencesub roster privacyrules I could keep the full xmppcore and xmppim features (easy shorthand if you do it all), but also include the more granular features as well.
