Edrin, I am also looking for pocket pc jabber clients/api's. I tried using jabberooce with libsigcce but it wouldn't link because of a bunch of STL-related errors. I never did figure that out. Instead, I started using a product from winfessor.com that uses .NET 2003. It compiled and ran with no problems and has an API too. Unfortunately, it costs $100 for non-commercial use. It was worth the money for me. If you only want a client, they do have a fully functional client for free.
