Since Gtk2 seems to have some support for right-to-left language input 
and I believe Arabic, Gabber 2 should be able to do it fine. As should 
Gossip, I imagine.

About 6 months ago I inquired about a Jabber client that would have 
support for Arabic.  The person here said there would be a Java Jabber 
client with right-to-left unicode support.  Is that still in the
