Yes, at this point it is recommended that developers compile Iris and their programs together as one big heap. I'll make the library buildable as a DLL once I consider the API stable enough. QCA is a dependency, though you can bundle this in statically if you want, like Psi does.
Note: Cutestuff isn't a real dependency. It's separate in CVS for organizational purposes, but a release tarball would contain all the needed files together. Hope that made sense. :) -Justin On Monday 10 May 2004 8:44 am, Phil Wilson wrote: > Iris looks good but AFAICT is not yet a completely standalone library, > although it appears to have the most promise. > > I could be wrong and am just being held up by Cutestuff/QCA dependency > problems. > > Phil > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: Peter Saint-Andre [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Sent: 10 May 2004 16:35 > > To: Jabber software development list > > Subject: Re: [jdev] Windows C++ client libraries > > > > > > There is also Iris: > > > > http://delta.affinix.com/iris/ > > > > Peter > > > > On Mon, May 10, 2004 at 10:39:44AM +0100, Phil Wilson wrote: > > > > Depends on what you mean by 'native'.
