The Jabber Council has voted to advance JEP-0033 (Extended Stanza Addressing) to a status of Draft within the Jabber Software Foundation's standards process. This JEP defines a protocol that enables entities to include RFC822-style address headers for XMPP stanzas in order to specify multiple recipients or sub-addresses. Implementations are now encouraged.
