Due to personal reasons, I'm a little behind on some background work being done for MU-Conference. History is high on my list, however it is taking a large rewrite of the message storage/handler system which is why its been delayed - As soon as its implemented, i'll release v0.6.1

I'm running jabber1.4.3 with MUC0.6. For the application I'm working on,
it would be better if the clients could avoid getting room histories by
including <history maxchars="0"/> in their intial presence. It doesn't
seem to me that this version of MUC supports that feature from the spec.
Are there plans to add that feature to a coming release of the
jabber.org MUC component? From what I can tell, there have been no new
releases of that component in a while.
