I just completed by TODO list I had for jabberd 1.4.4 except one item:
fixing the build on windows.
My problem with it is, that I have no success compiling a shared version
of libpth on windows, I always only get a static version of this
library.
Is there anybody with more cygwin experience on this list, that would
like to help me building a shared version of libpth, that I need to
compile jabberd?
Help would be very appreciated.
(jabberd itself needs some changes too, but I think I know what has to
be done, we should have to code for it already, but it's hard to make
the changes if you cannot test them. If nobody is able to help me
building libpth, I will release jabberd 1.4.4 without support to be
build on Windows and fix the Windows build later. I don't want to delay
the release any further. Expect the first release candidate soon.)
