I suppose at some point, you will be subscribed to a multitude of nodes all
across the Jabber universe, not just your own local pubsub service. So then
this question becomes very valid.
Ah yes true, what about an adaption of the bookmarks thing to list all of the pubsub servers which you are subscribed to and then you can query each one for the items you are subscribed to on those servers, you can also cache the results in the client so that the queries do not have to be rerun everytime.
It would be nice to have some kind of roster of nodes you have subscribed to,
and possibly also which nodes you own or may publish to. This roster would
preferably be kept at your own local server. No such thing exists today, not
even in concept, as far as I know.
