Well, it all depends on personal experience and the people you are involved with. From my point of view Peter just hasn't seen demand for VP in his circles. That doesn't mean that there is no such demand (maybe subconscious?), or that your ideas have no merit. Did you notice the smiley? Also, Peter's comments do not necessarily represent the stance of the JSF, if such a thing actually exists. He's just another Jabber fanatic, that happens to be very vocal and active, doing some great work. By the way, your proposal was deemed 'interesting' by the Jabber Council and thus we decided to grant it JEP status.
