I'm just going to give you a generic "go ahead" based on the simple
fact that contributors are always welcome.  :)

Psi does not support threads today either.  If you wrote a patch, I
can promise you it would at least get attention.  I personally can't
commit nor speak for Kev-the-maintainer though.
