[jdev] applet client vs JWChat..

JWChat is a JavaScript-based client, works w/only HTML and JS, 
apparently.. (http://jwchat.sourceforge.net/) anybody know much about 
JWChat?

at work we're trying to decide whether to write our own applet client 
(we need a client embedded in browser) or use JWChat..  can anybody 
point out pros and cons of using an applet vs using JWChat?  thank you 
very much..
