JEP-0045, Section 6.3.10 gives the case if two different users try to join the same room with the same nick. Does this extend to the same user with a different resource?
If we look at current implementations of MUC it certainly does (Certainly because this is the easiest way to code it). So is it allowed in a transport to 'overlay' all a user's resources onto the same Nick in the room? Obviously this requires that the transport keeps track of which resources are in which rooms, but this is required to support legacy networks where the network only supports a single client connection.
