Kevin has brought it to my attention that gg.aster.pl is a polish gadu gadu transport. Now that he mentions it, I do remember registering for it to do some testing for one of my users... though I did remove the transport later that day. It appears as though it still thinks I'm registered... because I am still getting messages from them.
He also brought jabber:iq:privacy to my attention... so until I get that sorted out, I'm sure an entry in /etc/hosts.deny will fix the problem.
