Yes, I understand this. But there are great libraries already available for all types of programming languages. You don't have to understand the description of stringprep. You can just use an existing library to prepare your strings and you are done.

i ported libidn to C#. Its included in the latest release. Would be cool if Yves and some other .NET developer could take a look at it. libidn is rleased under the Lesser General Public License. So it should be no problem to use it in commercial and open source products.
