I hadn't actually thought of that, you'd have to do it the same way that the mailing list does and provide oob urls to download the attachments. Alternativly you could provide a send attachments via FT option.
This would also work to send attachments. I also thought of allowing you to chat to the transport to send mails, (and actually only do it when you type 'send' or something).. Done that way, you could send files that you wanted to attach.
