Since the authors didn't answer, I'll report it:
Tkabber supports JEP50 since the last release:

The last update on that code was on 2006-01-17, so it probably 
implements version 1.2.
The implementation is not complete: 'wizards are not implemented'.
However, it works correctly with all the software I tried: ejabberd 
(obviously :) and PyMSNt
