Well currently I have focused on the client side of things but truth is
headstock is designed in a way that makes it fairly independant from the
context where it is used.
I haven't worked on the server side yet as it implies much more logic
regarding the routing and persistence of stanzas but I certainly plan on
attempting such feature once the library has reached a stable point.
I'm not sure we are talking about the same thing. I mean external
components that connect to the server via the component protocol (
http://www.xmpp.org/extensions/xep-0114.html )
