I don't think I understand the question. Every person only has one JID
(typically acquired through registration). You don't want to register
for a new jid each time you want to log in from another place, do you?

Illegal comparison. ;) You only have one e-mail identifier and no such
thing as resource names. You log in for e-mail, do stuff and log out
again before you go elsewhere to log in again. Even if you had long
sessions with e-mail, that wouldn't be a problem. Many systems with
logins support multiple logins at one time, with no obviously
user-provided resource name (other than network addresses or such).
