Thanks a lot, I will do this in the next release, wasn't aware of it, simply because it worked with everything I tested with... I'll setup a public svn as well asap, so that contributions will be easier.
Btw, while there exists a client only for Plone at the moment, it is extremely easy to write other clients if anyone is interested: The UI is completely agnostic of jabber and only needs to make a few (5) xmlrpc calls... So if anybody wishes to do blog clients, or html or other CMS clients please let me know if you need help.
