I only know of imov Messenger

They both interoperate for the GEOLOC XEP.

That would be interesting to see. The way I do it is to use Skyhook Wireless' 
API on the client device to retrieve latitude longitude which is then 
transmitted using the GEOLOC XEP. Their system uses a combination of 
Wifi/CellID/GPS to get the devices current location.> > /psa>
