Thank you. I was able to resolve the issue by changing the host name to im.mydomain.com - looks like it might have been DNS issues. As well as I had GTalk enabled in mydomain.com using Google Apps.
BTW does jabberd.eu support anonymous logins ? I am using mydomain.combecause I was not able to find an public XMPP server supporting anonymous logins. Thanks Again.
