Title: RE: [jdjlist] Tomcat issue with NT service

not an answer, just a hunch -
check the "PATH" environment variable and weed
out those invalid directory entries (commonly
introduced by mapping and un-mapping network
drivers) before you restart it as NT serivce.

Subject: [jdjlist] Tomcat issue with NT service

I have a problem  with tomcat installation and need
some help,

I have set up tomcat to run as an nt service using
jk_nt_service, which
works well, as in it starts the service for me. But I
am still getting a
problem, when i try to run serlvets, it keeps coming
back with a db
error,
saying that that it couldnt get a connection..

If I stop the service and start tomcat using 'startup'
instead, my
serlvets
run perfectly....can anyone point me to the answer to
my problem? I have tried using system DSN since system
dsn is available to system services. Still it throws
teh same error.. Help please.
Cheers
S Nair
